Join Chicago Wine Tasting Expert Jessica Altieri for a Wine Channel TV featured segment, “Sip Some Puglia” with Tenute Chiaromonte accompanied by Marina Chiaromonte.
We learn the history of Tenute Chiaromonte, started in1826, in Acquaviva delle Fonti—a southern Italian town just south of Bari, famous for its abundance of perennial ground water in its subsoil. Host Jessica and winemaker Marina sip on Tenute Chiaromonte’s Muro Sant’Angelo, a wine meaning “the oldest side of our town,” with notes of dark blackberries, raspberries—very smooth and wonderfully balanced. Winemaker Marina explains, “You can taste our territory, you can drink it in this glass.” Enjoy this spectacular view of the vineyards, lifestyle and people that make Tenute Chiaromonte a special “Sip Some Puglia” featured segment. As always, wine is just a conversation waiting to happen. Stay tuned to Wine Channel TV for more exclusive Sip Some Puglia featured videos in 2016. Salute!
